Current status: Andhra Pravasi reported that an agreement with IBM has been finalized to set up India's first quantum computer in Amaravati; however, no official announcement has been made by the state government or IBM.
In September 2014, the Andhra Pradesh cabinet chose the Amaravati region as the state capital.
