Several media outlets have published reports alleging illegal modifications to land records through Telangana's Dharani portal. On July 5, ETV Bharat reported that records covering about 10,000 acres were illegally altered, with some individuals allegedly registering lands in their own names. The same day, V6 Velugu reported 304 illegal entries on the portal, through which government and assigned lands were allegedly converted into private pattas. On July 7, Vidhatha newspaper alleged that 22,000 land transfers worth Rs. 10,000 crore were carried out illegally in the state, and claimed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy were involved. No official response has been recorded from Revanth Reddy or Ponguleti on these allegations, and neither the government nor the revenue department has issued an official statement.
