Oneindia Telugu said the procedure was scheduled at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. On July 11, multiple outlets reported that he underwent a roughly three-and-a-half-hour surgery on his right shoulder, providing relief from a decade-old pain. Andhrajyothy reported another surgery is planned after two months, and Samayam Telugu said doctors advised about a month of rest. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said the surgery was successful and that Pawan Kalyan would soon return to public service. On July 12, the hospital released a health bulletin, according to Disha. Locals held special prayers for his recovery in Sullurpeta and Razole, hmtvlive.com reported.
