Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy stated that one lakh Indiramma houses would be built in Hyderabad and other urban areas this financial year, Namaste Telangana reported. On July 14, reports said the project would be launched on the 20th; on July 19, Disha Daily reported the minister said work would begin the next day. On July 20, applications were invited, with August 10 set as the deadline, reports said. A 10-storey tower construction is reportedly planned. Application procedures and eligibility criteria were to be announced, Namaste Telangana reported.
