On July 9, a snake entered a government residential girls' hostel and bit four sleeping students, according to Eenadu, HMTV Live and Namaste Telangana. One girl died and three others were being treated in hospitals, the reports said. TV9 Telugu reported that in a government residential school hostel, a snake bit sleeping students at midnight, and a 13-year-old tribal student died. On July 13, TV9 Telugu reported that a venomous snake entered a government residential school hostel in a thatched hut and attacked a sleeping mother and daughter. The child, a third-grade student, died, while the injured mother is receiving hospital treatment, reports said.
