Six people from families in Daivalagooda, Shabad mandal of Ranga Reddy district, including children, were killed, Namaste Telangana reported. Police identified Rajkumar, who was out on bail in a POCSO case, as the accused, reports said. Eenadu reported that an earlier complaint had been neglected. Police deployed 12–14 teams, used over 500 CCTV cameras and announced a Rs 2 lakh reward during the search, reports said. On July 13, police said Rajkumar died in an exchange of fire. His body was found at Penjerla, hmtvlive.com reported. Officials said the encounter is under investigation. Sakshi reported that four more people were on the accused's alleged hit-list. Reports differed on whether the death was suicide or an encounter.
